R V Interlude

R V interlude
By Kenny merrell

A slight breeze rocks the RV
Movement from an errant wind
Faint trails of first light
Haunts the corner of our rolling home
We wait for daylights first kiss
To be upon the road once more
Life’s pleasures awaiting our movement
Sky brightens with colors of
Pink to rosy hue
Get up sleepy head! Time to move!
Mumbles from under covers
But coffee’s calling with
Indescribable pleasures
From the sense of smell
Ah, Life!
We only celebrate one
And ours must be the movement of the highway
New territory to conquer
New sites to see
The joy only heightened
By the delight of seeing it with you!
Love comes but once to such as I
Made only more precious by a road to travel

That is so romantic! I would just love to travel for a month or two!
Just get on the road and head North to Alaska and take my time through the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Alaska, then get on the ferry in Haines and get off in Bellingham!
