An Evening At Sunset
An Evening At Sunset
An evening at sunset
Sitting in the garden
Sun slowly diminishing
Streaks of red and orange fill the sky
Shadows emerging
Quietness prevails
Time for gentle reflection
As time slows and evening falls
Where will we travel
In solitudes comforting caress
When will we be called
Returning to God's nest
Time on earth, fleeting
Praying for guidance, divine
Needing you in my arms
For comfort sublime
Years upon years
All in their place
Each day a day of love and comfort
Each day a day of grace

Kenny, as good as you are at poetry, have you ever tried writing essays, or short stories?
I'll bet you could!!
When I sleep, I dream stories ,but when I try to write them they always seem so trivial. LOL kenny
