Summer Treasures

Summer Treasures
by kenny merrell

Oh what a glorious sound
As we reflect on natures bounty
Birds’ songs in sparkling morning sun
Who else but you and I will reflect in all his glory
A love song lived by you and I
And then the years pass
Each moment becomes more precious
As we review the choices we made in life
It was a grand passion
Living within the moment
Now reflection seems to the only path
How sweet the sounds of summer treasures
We continue on with no fear or dread
Only together will we triumph
And live in sweetness
Comforted by the memories we have shared
