Bouquet of Memory

I lie in fields of memory
Picked as moments,
Savoring
Through minds eye,
A reverie, empowering
Each petal full of promise
Making bright bouquets,
Flowering
Colors surrounding, ecstasy
Love's gentle kiss
No longer denying
Only asking how long, how long
Will memory serve this longing
Soft as life from a lover’s breath
I whisper to you, softly
Only our mind will understand the answer
And live on happily through a benevolent Savior
Time we share upon this earth will blossom
Creating beauty beyond understanding
Marking this the utmost undertaking
